Drug Uses
Ketasma (Zaditor) is used for temporary prevention of itching of the eye due to allergic conjunctivitis.

How Taken
Ketasma (Zaditor) comes as a tablet to take by mouth. The general dosage is a tablet per day. Ketasma (Zaditor) can be taken regularly or only when experiencing allergy symptoms. Follow your doctor`s directions. Do not take less or exceed the dosage prescribed by your doctor.

Missed Dose
If you miss a dose take it as soon as you remember. However if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the Missed Dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

Storage
Keep the product away heat, moisture and light. The temperature should be between 59–86F (15–30 C). Make sure children cannot reach it.

More Information
You may need a dosage adjustment or special monitoring during treatment or you may not be able to take this drug at all if you have kidney or liver infection or if you have gastrointestinal problems. Ketasma (Zaditor) interact with the following products– phenytoin (Dilantin); tamoxifen (Nolvadex); tolbutamide (Orinase); torsemide (Demadex); fluvastatin (Lescol); a blood thinner such as warfarin (Coumadin), heparin, ardeparin (Normiflo), dalteparin (Fragmin), danaparoid (Orgaran), enoxaparin (Lovenox), or tinzaparin (Innohep); (Activase), anistreplase (Eminase), dipyridamole (Persantine), streptokinase (Kabikinase, Streptase), ticlopidine (Ticlid), and urokinase (Abbokinase). Patients taking the above mentioned drugs should consult a doctor concerning the dosage and possibility of Ketasma (Zaditor) usage.

Warnings/Precautions
Ketasma (Zaditor) may cause dizziness or lightheadedness. These effects may worsen if Ketasma (Zaditor) is taken with alcohol or certain medicines. Use Ketasma (Zaditor) Tablets with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to this drug. Do not eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice while you take Ketasma (Zaditor) Tablets. Proper dental care is important while you are taking Ketasma (Zaditor) Tablets. Brush and floss your teeth and visit the dentist regularly. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, contact your doctor. Ketasma (Zaditor) should be used only by the patient for whom it has been prescribed. Do not take less or more or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.

Possible Side Effects
